1937-2019
It is with heavy hearts, and appreciation for a lifetime of
memories, that the family of Darrell J. Harris announce his passing
which occurred peacefully on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the Saint
John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on April 6, 1937, he was a
son of the late Earnest and Mary (MacUrney) Harris.
Darrell will be missed by his beloved wife of 60 years,
Catherine “Kay” Harris; special niece and husband,
Debbie & Randy Jefferson; nieces and nephews Elaine Hoyt
(Brent), Holly McLeod (Adam), Donnie LeBlanc (Lynda), Marc LeBlanc
(Lorraine), Peter LeBlanc (Lynette), Frank Harris (Marie), Billy
Harris, Elizabeth Lim (Larry) and Mary Lou Lucking (Bob); many great
nieces and great nephews; Brother-in-law Aldric LeBlanc (the late
Louise); Sisters-in-law Anne Smallwood (Robert) and Rena
Harris.
Arrangements are under the care of
Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home,
1461 Manawagonish Rd. Saint John, NB (634-7425). Visitation will be
held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 11 am – 1 pm in
Brenan’s Bay View Chapel with a Funeral Liturgy to follow at
1:00 pm. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension at a later
date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Palliative
Care Unit at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Online condolences may
