It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Darlene on Monday, February 18, 2019 at Grey Bruce Health Services, Markdale of Proton Station, in her 60th year. She is reunited with her loving husband James who passed in 2015. Loving mother of Adam(Grace) of Georgetown, Jason of Proton Station, Sarah(Donald) Shier of Dundalk and Toni of Proton Station. Proud and amazing grandmother of Michelle and Emily Shier. Beautiful daughter of Harold and the late Irene Markle. Dear sister of Dennis(Debbie) Markle of Marsville.
The family will receive friends at the Flesherton-Markdale Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 333 on Saturday, February 23 from 1:00-3:00pm with a time to share memories at 1:15. Cremation has taken place. In the spring, she will be laid to rest with her family and husband in St. Andrew’s Cemetery in Orangeville.
