Obituary of D’Arcy Imrie
April 29, 1963 – January 24, 2019

D’Arcy was a devoted Son, Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, & Friend, a Hero to those who knew & loved him.
D’Arcy attended Armstrong and Yellowknife elementary, then from grade 7- 12 in Vermillion. D’Arcy worked with Mackenzie Media, then Kingland Ford, and proudly became his own owner/operator of his trucking business Kaufmann Kartage. He was involved in coaching hockey and loved to curl, golf, and snowmobile. D’Arcy was married to Carey for 14 years, and together they had 3 children Jaimee, Mikiyas, and Lily.
D’Arcy is survived by his wife Carey; children Jaimee (Marc), Mikiyas, and Lily; parents, Joy and Calvin Imrie; siblings, Kevin (Heather), Jodee (Jim); and inlaws, Linda (Ross), Glen, Greg (Roberta), Laurie, Cheryl (Walter), Kelly (Mona); and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He was pre-deceased by his grandparents, Imrie & Scott Dalkin, uncle Carmen, uncle Carlyle, auntie Lynn, cousin David, and cousin Piper.
A Memorial Service for D’Arcy will be held at the Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Peace River, February 6, 2019 at 11am.
Donations can be made to a trust fund that has been set up for D’Arcy’s children Mikiyas, and Lily at the Peace River, Alberta Treasury Branch, as expressions of sympathy.
