April 17, 1959 – February 2, 2019

The passing of Cynthia “Cindy” Louella (Goodridge) Gilmore, of Fredericton, NB, wife of Gordon Gilmore occurred on February 2, 2019 at the Dr Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born on April 17, 1959 in Picton, ON, she was the daughter of Captain Herb Goodridge and Captain Alice (Thompson) Goodridge. She was a member of The Salvation Army Fredericton Community Church. Cindy enjoyed spending time with family, her pets Casper and Mystique, watching the Toronto Blue Jays, and listening to Southern Gospel music.

Cindy is survived by her daughters Jennifer Sharpe and Jessica Sharpe (Robbie) both of Fredericton; stepson Dana Gilmore (Holly) of Brooks, Alberta; sister, Sherry Brewer (Kevin) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Kourtnie (Brody), Jacob Hoben, Cody-Shane Sharpe and Jace; step-grandchildren, Shaylen, Abby and Brady; great-granddaughter Lexi Lou Doucett.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home on Tuesday February 5, 2019 from 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at the Salvation Army Fredericton Community Church, 531 Saint Mary’s St. on Wednesday February 6, 2019 at 2pm, with Major Dan Dearing and Major Renee Dearing officiating. Interment will take place at Sunnybank Cemetery in Fredericton, NB at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to The Salvation Army Fredericton Community Church or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
