It is with broken hearts that the family of the late
CORNELIUS GREEN of Little Bay announces his passing.
Cornelius passed away at his home in Little Bay on Tuesday, February
26th, 2019 at the age of
83. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories
are his wife Lillian of 59 years; sons, Leo (Patsy) of Little Bay,
Corn (Helen) of Boat Harbour and Glen (Marilyn) of Toronto; daughters,
Debbie (Adrian Farrell) of Little Bay, Mary (Bram Mitchell) of
Alberta, Cindy (Gary Beazley) of Vancouver, Beverley Green of St.
John’s, Alice Green of Marystown and Nicole (Jason Green) of
Manitoba; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Kevin
Green (Sheila) of St. John’s; sister, Rose Green (Gerald
Pearson) of Creston South; sisters-in-law Bride Green of
Burin and Alice Green of Burin; plus a large circle of extended family
and friends. Cornelius was predeceased by his parents,
Vincent and Gertrude Green; brothers Joseph and Moses Green, infant
daughter Michelle Green, grandson Kerry Green and great-grandson Tyron
Farrell.
The Green Family will be accepting visitors at
Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Marystown on Wednesday, February
27th from 10am to 9pm and
Thursday, February 28th from 10am to 9pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart
Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on Friday, March
1st at
10:30am
