BALLANTYNE, Clifford (Cliff) Norman
Died Sat. Jan. 12, 2019 surrounded by family, at Providence Care Hospital, Kingston, in his 89th year. Cliff was predeceased by his beloved first wife of 49 years, Hazel (nee Bauder), by his parents Clifford Roy and Jennie May (McFarlane), siblings Margaret, Herbert and Mary. He is survived by beloved second wife of 14 years, Iva Bellringer. Much loved father to Heather, Cliff (Sharon) and grandfather to Emily (Trevor) and Sarah (Jordan). Lovingly remembered by stepson David (Sandra), grandchildren Rachel (Charles), Lauren (Shane) and Kelsey (Chris) and great-grandchildren Tessa and Elle. They will miss their GG Cliff. Fondly remembered by extended family and friends. Visitation will take place at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., on Friday, January 18, 2019, from 1:00 to 1:50 P.M., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 P.M. Rev. Dr. Mike Michielin will be conducting the service. Interment will take place at Harrowsmith Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the U.H.K.F. (Providence Care Hospital’s palliative care or KGH Cancer Centre of South East Ontario), or a charity of your choice, will be greatly appreciated.
