1940-2019
HARCOURT, NB – Cecil Wright 78, of Harcourt passed
away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital on Friday, February 8,
2019. Born in Fords Mills, he was the son of the late
Malcolm Wright and late Ellavine (Morris) Wright. Before
retiring, Cecil worked for Modern Construction. Throughout
his life he enjoyed camping and bluegrass
festivals.
Cecil will be sadly missed by his life partner Dorothy Beers
of 50 years from Harcourt; three sons, Randy, Kenny and Billy; one
daughter, Corrie all of Ontario; five stepchildren, Marlene Lewis
(Steve) of Moncton, Darlene Fillmore (Rodney) of Beersville, Michael
Beers (Kathy) of Mundleville, Harry Beers (Judy) of Moncton, Terry
Beers of Moncton and many grandchildren.
He is also survived by his sister, Ivy, Harvey Roberts and
family of Harcourt.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his aunt Florence
Wright that raised him as her own from a young
age.
As per Cecil’s request there will be no visitation
or funeral service. A burial service will be held in the
spring at the Harcourt United Cemetery for the family. In
lieu of flowers, donations in Cecil’s memory may be made to
the Harcourt United Cemetery Fund and would be appreciated by the
family. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s
Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
