OBITUARY
Brian Allan Budd
August 31, 1950 – February 2, 2019
Brian Allan Budd, 68, of Calgary, Alberta, passed away in the company of family on February 2, 2019 at the Foothills Hospital.
He was born to parents George and Florence, on August 31, 1950 in Calgary. Brian worked for ATCO Structures for 45 years. He loved his family and going camping. He also enjoyed raising the volume on the radio to listen to and share his love for classic rock and country music.
Brian is survived by his three children: Jason and his wife Jennifer, Jamie and her partner Jake, and Devon; two grandchildren: Dylan and Cameron; the mother of his children: Debbie; his brother Kevin and his wife Anne; his brother-in-law: Lenard; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives.
Brian was predeceased by his father George, his mother Florence, and his sister Lynn.
The family would like the thank Bethany Calgary for their care of Brian during his last year. A special thank you to the staff and volunteers at the Intensive Palliative Care Unit (Unit 47) of the Foothills Hospital for their loving care and support during his final days.
We will be hosting a celebration of life at the Marlborough Park Community Association, (6021 Madigan Road NE), on February 10, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you donate games and activities to the Intensive Palliative Care Unit (Unit 47) of the Foothills Hospital so that other families and patients can receive similar comfort when staying on the unit.
