On behalf of Squamish Nation Council, Band Manager and Administration it is with great sadness we advise of the sudden passing of Brenda Michelle Bull – fondly known as ‘Butterfly’. Brenda descends from the Terry/Bull and Paul/Adrian families of Shalalth, Seaton Portage & Lytton First Nations; she lived in North Vancouver her entire life and was a dear friend to the Squamish.
Brenda will best be remembered for her love of the water and friendly quiet nature. She enjoyed puzzles and adult colouring books. Brenda attended Queen Mary Elementary School and graduated from Carson Graham Senior Secondary School. She is survived by and will be dearly missed by her loving partner of 23 years Edward ‘Eddy’ Paul; her cat and best friend Bubba; mother Gladys Mary Elizabeth Adrian (Duncan); special father Lorne Don; sister Lisa Ann Bull (Darrell) and brother Clint Bull; nephew Darren Brian Bull; grandniece Mai Bull; uncle Don Adrian (Nancy); and many loving relatives and dear friends.
Following a meeting with family it was decided that a funeral service took place on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Squamish Nation Shaker Church at 10:00 am.
