Bayna Geraldine Martin 19402019

Bayna Geraldine Martin
1940-2019
We, the family, are saddened to announce
the passing of our mother, Bayna Geraldine
Martin, 79, of Springhill, at the Cumberland Regional
Health Care Centre, Amherst, on Wednesday, February 6,
2019.
Bayna always enjoyed a game of cards and
watching curling on television. She was very handy with a
sewing machine, knitting, crocheting, and crafting many
things. She had had many jobs over the years including LBJ
Farm Services, Hatheway Ford, Bill Casey Ford and at G&G Smith
Skidoo Shop. She particularly enjoyed her free time at the
camp in Wentworth as well as spending time with her dog,
Webster.
Bayna was predeceased by her husband Jim
Martin, her parents, Onwri and Mamie (MacAloney-Sears) Brown, as well
as her brother, Mark Brown.
She will be dearly missed by her sons,
Todd (Carol) Bourgeois, Amherst, and Jeff (Angelia) Bourgeois, Mt.
Uniacke, NS; grandchildren, Brandon, Alicia, Brittany, and Morgan; a
special nephew Ken (Mary Ann) Moore of San Jose, CA, as well as her
special friends Art and Connie, Mike and Nancy and family, and her
card playing buddies who made mom’s life enjoyable.
Arrangements are under the care and
guidance of A.H. Brown Funeral Home, 5
McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902-597-2361) from where a funeral
service will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 2 pm with a
reception to follow.
Donations in memory of Bayna may be made
to the Southampton Cemetery.
Sharing of memories and condolences may
