Barry W. Mayr of Lindale, Alberta passed away at Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre during the early hours of Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at the age of 58 years. Barry will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Michelle; daughters, Carolyn Lychak and Amanda Mayr (Ray Derkach); grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Hailee and Joel; mother, Gwen Mayr; brother, Cleve Mayr; sister, Valinda Johnson; sister-in-law, Alison (Tyrone) Corsaut; nieces and nephews, Carrie (Dayton), Courtney (Brandon), Lisa, Paul, Clint, Kris, Adam and Ryan, as well as by many extended family and wonderful friends. Funeral Service will be held at Lindale Community Hall on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow at North-End Cemetery, Lindale. Memorial contributions in Barry’s name may be made directly to Drayton Valley Health Services Foundation – Palliative Care, 4550 Madsen Avenue, T7A 1N9.
