Barrington Berry of Virden, Manitoba and formerly of Cromer, Manitoba passed away at WestMan Nursing Home, Virden Sunday, February 24, 2019 at the age of 92 years.
Barrington was born June 21, 1926 at Cromer. He spent the next 84 years living and working on the family farm that he was born and raised on. He retired to Virden in 2010. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love for his family and farm, his passion for the game of curling, his dedicated service to his community and his strong faith in God.
Later this summer, when the warm sun returns to Manitoba and the grass turns green, when the calves are grown and the crops are lush and thick, we will remember Barrington and celebrate his life well-lived.
If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Barrington may be made to Virden & District Health Auxiliary for WestMan Nursing Home c/o P.O. Box 2526 Virden, MB R0M 2C0 or to Virden Cemetery c/o Town of Virden P.O. Box 310 Virden, MB R0M 2C0.
