It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ann Russell announce her passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Care Centre on Thursday January 31, 2019 at the age 88 years. She was predeceased by her husband Samuel; Great-granddaughter Asia; parents William & Lucy Quinton; sisters: Marie, Jessie, brothers: Gord, Ray and Gus. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Roberta Tilley (Keith), Denise Kelly (Michael); sons: John Russell, Tony Russell (Linda), 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Family will be receiving friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home 60 Roe avenue, Gander on Monday February 4, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. & Tuesday February 5, 2019 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday February 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church officered by Father William Hearn with interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made in Ann’s memory to the Children’s Wish Foundation or the St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church.
