Obituary of Andrew Smith
SMITH, Andrew James (20 years military service & KVA Veteran) – passed away surrounded by family, at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, February 23, 2019 in his 90th year.
Andrew Smith of Pembroke, beloved husband of Helen Smith (nee Liebeck). Dear father of Carol Smith, Perth; Millard Smith (Ella), Pembroke; Wayne Smith (Elizabeth), Oshawa; and the late Gayle Suley (Bill), Cochrane AB. Cherished grandfather of Leanne Summers (Tim) & Kristyne Ross (Jeff); Stephanie & Margaret Smith; and Krista Graham (Jesse); as well as six great-grandchildren. Son of the late Andrew and Florence Smith (nee Dooley); and predeceased by brother Gordon; and sisters Shirley & Georgina. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Respecting Andrew’s wishes, cremation has taken place and interment of ashes will be held in the spring. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
