Obituary of Allan Lantz
Allan Fredrick Lantz, 62 of Windsor passed away on February 3, 2019 in the Dartmouth General Hospital. He was the son of the late Raymond J. and Peggy V. (Townsend) Lantz.
Allan was a long term custodian for the Annapolis Valley School Board. His bowled for the Windsor Leaque and enjoyed watching the horse pulls, wherever he could find one. He loved spending time with his family camping. Allan also loved spending time with his little partner, grandson, Gavin Lantz, who was very close to him. They would play trucks or count the change he would gladly give up to Gavin. Gavin would never forget to give grand dad hugs and kisses before saying goodnight.
He is survived by his loving wife Valerie (Warner) Lantz, Windsor; mother Peggy; sons Nicholas (Carla) Lantz, Windsor; Dustin (Allison) Lantz, Windsor; daughter Ashley Lantz, Windsor; brothers Brian (Rosemary) Lantz, Austrialia; Darrell (Edna) Lantz, Windsor; Peter (Crystal) Lantz, Windsor; sisters Sheila (Nick) Swinamer, Windsor; Daphine (Jimmy) Well, Windsor; Wendy (Donnie) Swinamer, Windsor; Janice (Joe) McCarthy, Windsor; grandchildren Jasmine, Vanessa, Melissa, Azhia, Gavin, Alexis all of Windsor; and nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Allan was predeceased by brother Barry and sister Stephine Dykens.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Three Mile Plains with Rev. Tom Henderson officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
