Obituary

Moira Zylstra
1940-2019
Moira was born in Scotland and came to Canada at the age of 14. When we finally met, one flash of the blue eyes brought us together for 60 years. Moira had a busy, but fantastic life. She had children (Carla, Dirk, Fiona and Rod), children-in-law (Ward, Marie-Claude and Lori-Ann) and grandchildren (Stewart, Quinn, Callum, Lucas and Flora). In addition to raising a family, Moira had a professional life that included being an Assistant to a VP at CN, and then later in life, she trained for and became a Registered Nurse. But time always wins the race. Surrounded by her family, Moira passed away on February 1st. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday February 7, 2019 from 2 pm to 4 pm at the
Westboro Chapel of Tubman
403 Richmond Road, Ottawa (at Roosevelt)
Private burial to take place at Beechwood Cemetery. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).
