Passed peacefully away at home on February 2, 2019, aged 76 years. Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 51 years, Roy, her daughters Kim (Aiden), Kara (Stephen), Kelly (Jordy) and Kristen (Paul), and her beloved grandchildren Kyle (Sarah), Emily, Riley (Megan), Ainsley, George, Alex and Samy. She will be sadly missed by her brother Kenneth (Diane), her sisters Joan (Ted), Betty (Keith), Allyson and Paula (Dave) and sister-in-laws Lorraine (Jack), Joan (Norman), Judy (Tom) and brother-in-law Kenny (Carol). Sandra was from West Lake Ainslie, Cape Breton and lived in Kelligrews for 42 years. She had a large circle of friends who were like her family and will miss her dearly too. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends and in her garden. She was known as Gram to many and famous for her jam and cookies.
Resting at Hickey’s Funeral Home in Kelligrews, with visitation on February 7, 2019, from 10 am to 9 pm. A funeral mass to celebrate her life will be held on February 8, 2019, at 2 pm at St. Edward’s Parish, Kelligrews.
