MARCHE, Robert Age 79 years. Passed peacefully away on January 30, 2019 at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s with his loving family by his side. Predeceased by his parents Stanislaus and Geraldine and his brother Albert.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife of 57 years, Gladys Wells Marche, and his three children: Natalie (John), Paul and Chloe (Glen). He will be specially remembered by his three treasured grandchildren: Daniel, Noah and Jacob; two great-granddaughters Victoria and Melody; sisters Martha, Zita, Dorothy, Marie, Carolyn, Valerie, brothers Henry, Wayne, Danny, Glen, brothers and sisters-in-law, as well as a large circle of other relatives and life long friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Oncology Unit at the Health Sciences Centre for Robert’s wonderful care during these past few weeks. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation and will be greatly appreciated by the family.
Robert’s remains have been entrusted to Carnell’s Funeral Home for cremation. A visitation with his family in memory of his life will be held at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John’s, on Sunday, February 3 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place in Stephenville Crossing on Tuesday, February 5 at 11:00 am at the Assumption Parish Church with inurnment to follow.
