BRINTON, Yvonne Marie ~ Age 91, Berwick, Kings Co., it is with great sadness that the family announce her passing on Sunday, February 24, 2019, with her family by her side in Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Marie (Poirier) Wetmore. Yvonne had a passion for gardening. She enjoyed playing cards, watching curling and spending time with her grandchildren. Left with fond and loving memories are her two daughters, Barbara Gaudon (Everett), St. Thomas, Ontario; Anne Marie Cunningham (David), Berwick; a son, Stephen, Fredericton, New Brunswick; she will also be missed by her five grandchildren, Tim, Colin, Jennifer, Michelle and Ian; nine great grandchildren, Jason, Emily, Taylor, Nicholas, Carter, Claire, Charlotte, Sarah and Sophie; two great-great grandchildren, Benjamin and Meredith. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley, a son, Gary and was the last surviving member of her siblings, Edwin, Harry, Norman and Lloyd. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A funeral service followed by a reception will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, March 1, in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 120 Mill Street, Berwick. Rev. Father John MacPherson officiating, with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Kentville. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at the Grand View Manor for the excellent care their mom received during her stay there. Family flowers only, donations in her memory may be made to the Grand View Manor.
