It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved mother, and grandmother, Doreen Cook, who passed away on February 20, 2019, at the age of 89 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Marilyn Thompson; son Brent Cook; grandchildren: Christopher, Graham (Diana), Matthew, Kimberly (Patrick); as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her husband Jim, daughter Diana, son Carter and her sister Marlene.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 9009 – 163 Street, Edmonton.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Thomas Ranieri and the staff at Capital Care Lynnwood, for their kindness, support and care shown to Doreen during her stay there.
Memorial donations in Doreen Cook’s honour may be made directly to Alzheimer Society of Canada.
