At the Pembroke Regional Hospital surrounded by the love of his family on Sunday February 10, 2019 in his 92nd year. Vern Couturier of Westmeath, beloved husband of Lillis Couturier (nee Ethier). Loved and cherished father of Debbie Dupuis (Joe), Beachburg, Penny Couturier (Jacques Fradette) Gatineau, Nancy Couturier, Ottawa and Brian Couturier (Kimberly) Pembroke. Loving grandfather to Adam (Jun), Geoffrey and Carrie (Lee) Dupuis, Michelle Fradette, Braydon and Meegan Couturier and great granddaughter Mika. Predeceased by his sisters Dora Robinson (late Joseph), Audrey Scott (late Douglas), Margaret Fisher (late Roy) and Rita Couturier and brothers Maurice Couturier (late Winnifred) and Emard Couturier. Brother-in-law of Laurette Couturier. Son of the late Ephriam and Mary (nee Hudson) Couturier. Friends are invited to share their memories of Vern with his family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Wednesday 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday February 14th at 11:00 a.m. in Our lady of Grace Church, Westmeath. Spring Interment in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. In memory of Vern, donations to The Ottawa Heart Institute or Our Lady of Grace Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the family.
