April 4, 1957-January 26, 2019
Passed away with loving family by her side, on January 26, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by parents Charles and Jacqueline Anderson (nee Graham) and her brother Brian. Survived by Judith (Gerry), Bill (Gisele), Janet, Carol (Charlie) and Jill (Jeff). The best Aunt “Spu” to many nieces and nephews. Special Godmother to Jeff, Chantal and Brexton.
Sharon was a dedicated teacher for over 30 years. She was known for her wit and great sense of humour. She loved the outdoors, golf, tennis, swimming and working in her yard. She was a parishioner of St. James the Greater Parish, a Rotarian and active in her community.
The family would like to thank Dr. Deverell for his excellent care as well as the many friends, neighbours and community members who rallied around Sharon. The outpouring of support was truly remarkable.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Menard Funeral Home in Blind River on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 7pm to 9pm. Funeral services from St. James the Greater Parish in Blind River on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 11am with Father Lourdo officiating. Luncheon to follow. Donations to North Shore Health Network Foundation, Blind River Site or St. James the Greater Parish Building Fund. Arrangements entrusted to Menard Funeral Home www.menardfh.com
