Roland Bourque of Memramcook passed away on Saturday February 23, 2019 at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont at the age of 66 following a brief battle against cancer. Born in Saint-Joseph, Memramcook, he was the son of the late Raymond and Rita (LeBlanc) Bourque. Roland liked to travel and to receive family and friends at the family home. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 44 years of marriage, Annette (Landry), three sisters, Hélène (Ronald) Harvey of Bainsville Ontario, Georgette (Jean-Paul) Landry of Memramcook, Gloria (Roger) Richard of Belliveau-Village, several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Wednesday February 27 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at St-Thomas Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook on Thursday February 28 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery. In memory of Roland, a donation to the Foundation CHU Dumont for the Oncology center Dr. Léon-Richard or donor’s choice would be appreciated.
