Obituary of Dorene Adams
ADAMS- Dorene Isabelle passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Welland County General Hospital, on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the age of 95. Born in Thorold, she has lived in this area all of her life. Predeceased by her beloved husband William R. Adams, daughters Donna Barrick and Wilma Kuczma, daughters-in-law Suzanne and Cindy. Survived by her sister Eleanor Charuk, her loving children William (Cathryn), Walter and David (Wanita), her sons-in-law David Barrick and Marcel Gagne and her cherished grandchildren David Barrick (Karen), DeAnna Barrick (Jim), Jeff Adams (Nancy), Benjamin Kuczma (Deb), Cindy Crocker (Andrew), Elizabeth Adams (Brent), William Adams (Petra), Katrina Adams, Jennifer Adams, David Adams and Jessie Adams (Steve). Also survived by her many great grandchildren, her 2 great great granddaughters and her nieces and nephews. Dorene was a lifelong member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #56 Port Colborne and enjoyed over 60 summers at the cottage on Sand Lake, Ontario. Dorene’s family will receive visitors at the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne, on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Davidson Chapel. Burial will follow at Overholt Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #56.
