Wayne R. Pinder
Suddenly, at home in
Lakeville-Westmorland, NB, Wayne Robert Pinder at the age of 56. Wayne
was born in Fergus, Ontario on October 4,
1962.
Wayne is survived by his
devoted partner Kim Fraser, his loving mom Darlene Pinder and sister
Donna Pinder, both of Fergus, Ontario. He is also survived by his dad
Ron Pinder, sister Carol Whitelaw (Denis) and Brother Ron Jr, many
nieces and nephews and his adoring, loving
friends.
Wayne lived most of his life
in Ontario, but moved to the Moncton, NB area in November of 2016 with
Kim. He was a life long vintage motorcycle enthusiast and hobbyist.
During his short time with Kim he ran a small business “Crash
Pinder Motorcycle Parts” Motorcycles/small engine mechanics was
his passion. Wayne also held the 2012 COSDRA 340 Stock Mod record on
1/8 mile/660 Feet at 105.7 MPH. This record has yet to be broken, and
he was extremely proud of this
accomplishment.
When he wasn’t
online bartering/buying/selling parts, in the garage tinkering, or
going to swap meets to sell his wares, he was spending time with Kim
and their dog “Socks”. Wayne loved music, camping,
gardening, travel, cooking and of course anything related to classic
cars and motorcycles. His family and friends will always remember his
quick wit, his big laugh and smile, and most of all his kind heart.
Wayne will be sorrowfully missed by all who knew him. Wayne
was a talented mechanic who could fix anything, he had a memory like
no other. He was also a huge animal lover.
We are respecting
Wayne’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
Wayne’s friends will gather later this summer to celebrate
his life. Details will be shared at a later
date.
