It is with broken hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the sudden passing or our beloved father, grandfather and devoted husband, Giovanni Di Stefano. He is survived by his loving wife Giuseppina, daughters Silvana (Gaspare) Giglio, Maria (Lui) Bortolussi; grandchildren Sabrina, Daniel, Alysha and Stefano, (the loves of his life!) along with many nieces, nephews and extended family members both locally and abroad. Giovanni had a compassionate soul with a heart of gold that was paired with a sense of humor that endeared him to those he loved. May you fly on Angels wings to meet our savior and be received with open arms…..Rest in peace Dad! . Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00pm on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Our Lady of Sorrows, 555 Slocan Street, Vancouver. In lieu of flowers donations to the heart and Stroke foundation would be greatly appreciated. Entombment will follow at Ocean View Burial Park, South Mausoleum.
