Obituary of George Leng
LENG, George Alexander
George Alexander Leng, 89, of Grimsby and Hamilton, Ontario, went home to be with the Lord on 16 February, 2019. Born in Hagersville to Laura (Crooker) and Edgar Leng, George was brother to the late Dorothy (Muir) McLaren, and to Marlene (Bruce) Mooney and Marilyn (Roger) Smith. Predeceased by his first wife Ruth (Cuthbert) and daughter Debbie, George leaves behind his daughter Karey (Douglas) Loney and son Karl (Carrie) Leng. He is remembered fondly by Sandra (Horning) and her family, and by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. George was long associated with the car business as a mechanic, salesman, manager and dealer principal from Caledonia to Burlington to Grimsby. He was a long-time board member of Christian Horizons and a number of other boards and committees, and was a life-long friend and supporter of many missionaries.
