It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Elizabeth Chomlak of Edmonton, AB on February 17, 2019 at the age of 87 years.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Sherry (Curtis) and Richard (Louise); her grandchildren, Shawn, Heidi (Corey), Daniel (Madeleine) and Connie (James); great grandchildren, Chloe, Trinity, Ella Marie, Nolan, Forest, Ashton, Leroy and Mabel.
Predeceased by her husband, Bill; parents, William and Mary Tanasichuk; sisters, Helen Konsorada and Angela Luchak.
Elizabeth was a courageous and hardworking woman who enjoyed her home, her pet Chihuahuas, Candy and Sugar; her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family extends their gratitude to the staff at Shepherd’s Care Vanguard and the excellent care she received at the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
The family invites those who were touched by Elizabeth’s life to join them on Saturday, February 23 at 3:30 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709-111 Avenue with Pastor Nate Wright officiating. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta NWT & Nunavut, Suite 144, 5241 Calgary Trail NW, Edmonton, AB T6H 5G8.
