Peacefully at Extendicare Hamilton, surrounded by his loving family, on February 17, 2019 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Carmelina (nee Filice) for 58 years. Loving father of Clara and Pat Memmolo and Marco and Angela. Cherished Nonno of Jenna, Lucas, Domenic and Anthony. Son of the late Francesco and the late Angelina Filice. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Vincenzo and Carmela Filice, the late Giuseppe and Agata Filice, the late Santo and the late Adelina Filice, the late Pietro and the late Anna Filice, Giovanni and the late Teresa Filice, the late Rosina and the late Giuseppe Dodaro, the late Emilia and the late Michele Fortino, the late Virginia and the late Francesco Bozzo, the late Marietta and the late Pietro Falcone, the late Assunta and the late Carlo Mandalito, Ida and the late Giuseppe Falcone, the late Raffaele and Ernesta Filice, Franco and Angelina Filice, the late Adolfo and the late Ida Filice, Luciano and Ida Filice, Laura Filice and Anita and the late Giuseppe Bozzo. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends in Canada and Italy. Domenico was a lifetime member of the Donnici Social Club and a retired employee of Dofasco. Special thank you to all the staff at Extendicare Hamilton for all their care and compassion. Resting at Death: February 17, 2019 FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL; 43 Barton St. E., on Thursday, February 21 from 2-5 and 6-9 p.m. Vigil prayers on Thursday evening. Funeral Mass will be offered at Regina Mundi Church on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In kindness, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
