GORMAN, Marjorie Rose (nee Cosens)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marjorie, age 88, on Saturday February 16, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her devoted husband of 60 years Ray, her parents Lillian and Andrew Cosens and brother Roy. She leaves behind her beloved children Eileen Amorosi, Joan Fowler (Jim), Raymond (Debbie) and Fred (Dinah). She was a very special Nana to Aaron (Val), Conor (Nicole), Jim (Gina), Michael, Kevin, Lindsay, Simon and Sydney. She was also a loving Great Nana to Asher, Isla and Ciara. Marjorie is survived by her sister Dorothy and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom loved playing board and card games with all her family teaching four generations the finer skills of Euchre, Yahtzee, Scrabble and Farkle. And she always played to win.

The family thanks the staff of St Joseph’s Villa-Balsam Trail and the health care team at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Family and friends are welcomed to visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home – “William J. Markey Chapel”, 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Thursday February 21, 2019 from 2 pm – 4 pm & 6 pm – 8 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Church, 20 Idlewood Ave. on Friday February 22, 2019 at 10 am.
