Cheryl Lynn Berry “Sherry” – 63, passed away February 10, 2019 surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late George Berry whom she shared 40 years of marriage together. In those 40 years they had two children, Carleton Berry (Melissa) and Angela Berry (Tim); two stepchildren, Ricky Barry and Linda Goudey (Keith); along with nine grandchildren, Bailee, Oaklee, Dylan, Nykolas, Emily, Abby, Ashleigh Riley, Brady. Born in Yarmouth on September 3, 1955 she was the daughter of the late Arnold Grant and Eleanor (Dease); sister to, Gladys Leblanc, Earl Grant (Beverly), Blake Grant (Susan), Brian Grant (Bonnie), David Grant (Sharon), Sandy Grant (Patty), Wendy Cottreau (Wayne). Besides her parents Sherry was pre-deceased by her brother, Arnold Grant. She devoted her life to her family and was a loving wife, supportive ,mother, phenomenal grandmother, and also an amazing auntie to many nieces & nephews. She was also a long-time member of the local TOPS Group. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held Thursday February 14, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel. A Memorial service will be held Friday February 15,2019 at 10 a.m. from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Raymond Pitcher officiating.
