Peacefully, on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the age of 72. Survived by his wife of 51 years, Margaret; daughters Ann and Nancy (Kevin); grandchildren Katie, Alex (Erin), Hannah, Joshua, and Isabella; great-granddaughters Gabriella and Rosalie. Predeceased by parents Romeo and Francis, and brother Cameron, and survived by siblings Ola Mae, Donna, Stephen, Sandra, Peter, Francis, and Elizabeth. Uncle to many nieces and nephews, especially Renata and Renzo. Retired from the Federal Government, Lorne was an avid gardener who loved a round of golf, fishing, or an afternoon with a good book. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lanark Animal Welfare Society (LAWS).
