On Tuesday February 5, 2019 Doris Betteley died peacefully in her sleep at the West Lake Terrace, Prince Edward County, at the age of 87.
Predeceased by her husband Ron, parents Charles Hammond Betteley and Mary Ann (nee Ganon) Betteley, son Thomas “Tommy” Betteley and brother Robert “Bob” Betteley. She will be remembered by friends especially Sue Squires and by residents and staff of West Lake Terrace.
At her expressed request, Doris’ body has been donated to the Queen’s University Department of Biomedical and Molecular Sciences and will be followed by interment at Carrying Place Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to the Hicks Funeral Home, 2 Centre Street, Picton.
