Gérard Tranchemontagne
The family announces with great sadness his passing in Sudbury, on February 4th, 2019 at the age of 73 years, surrounded by his loving family. Son of the late William and Emilia Tranchemontagne (née Foucault). Cherished husband of Linda (née Fraser). Loving father of Jeff (Danielle). Beloved grandfather of Kassandra and William. Brother of Ron (Madeleine), Rita Brosseau (late Léonard), Leo (late Marion), late Arcade, late Emile and late Doris. Dear brother-in-law of Kevin
Fraser (Monique). Gérard will be dearly missed by his hunting partner Don Brosseau and by his many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Gerard loved spending hours working in his garage, hunting, and fishing outdoors but most of all he loved spending time with this family and grandchildren. Special thanks to all his doctors, the compassionate nursing staff of HSN and his homecare nurse Doris Sauve for their excellent care.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury, 222 Lasalle Blvd., on Friday, February 8th, 2019 from 2 to 5 pm and 7 to 9:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 9th, 2019 at 3 pm at St-Stephen the Martyr (St-Etienne), Dowling.
