William (Bill) Robert Frausel.
Passed away peacefully at the age of 82 at the St. Catharine’s General Hospital on Monday January 21, 2019. Beloved husband and best friend of Shirley (nee Swayze) in their 61st year of marriage. Loving father of Darrell, Cheryl (Robert), Tim (Kelly), Terry (Caroline). Dear grandfather of Sarah (Rob), Jared (Jessie), Lisa (Dan), Corolie (Ryan), Tyler (Jade), Katrina, Derek and Aly. Great grandfather of Zachary, Carsen, Caelyn, Taya, Cohen, Alexa, Quinn, Payton, Hunter, Hudson and Keyah. Half brother of Ed (Delfina), Gladys (Gary), Joan (Alec), Janet (Tony), Jake (Elaine), and Cathy. Predeceased by his parents Catherine and Raymond. Bill’s passion was his family. Bill was heavily involved with Wainfleet ORSA Fastball and hockey as a father, president, convenor, manager, umpire and timekeeper for over 2 decades. Bill worked for 47 years in the trucking business in Wainfleet, Toronto and Grimsby. Bill was a member of the BIC church in Wainfleet. Special thanks to Dr. Rabin and Dr. Woodland and all the staff of the dialysis group and the staff at St. Catharines General Hospital. Cremation has taken place. The Frausel family will receive friends at Wainfleet BIC Church, 53007 Perry Road, Wainfleet on Wednesday from 6-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the church on Thursday at 11am with visitation 1 hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations to The HOPE centre, 570 King Street, Welland would be appreciated by the family.
