Wilbert Stanley Davis, age 94, of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Stratford General Hospital. Born in Fullarton Township, son of the late Samuel and Edna (Woodley) Davis. Wilbert is survived by his loving wife Phyllis (Pearson) Davis of 71 years. Much loved father of Pat (William) Johnson, Susan (Ken) Riemens and Ron Davis (Sarah). Proud grandfather of Jody (Scott), Julie (Ilie), Jackie (Marek), Jocelyn, Jayne (Rob), Billy, Jim, Chad, Lance, Jennifer, Nick and Braden. Great grandfather of Madison, Katelyn, Lucas, Colleen, Vinson, Justin and Zachary. Wilbert will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Wilbert was the last surviving member of his family, he was predeceased by brothers Jack, Hartley, Melvin, David (Rita), and sisters Grace, Pauline (William), Beth (Elmer) and Luella. Family and Friends may call at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford, on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment will take place in Fullarton Cemetery, in the spring.
