CURRIE, Wayne
It is with sadness that Wayne’s family announce his passing on Saturday, December 29, 2018. He fought a long, hard battle with courage and strength. He will always be remembered by Rona his beloved wife of 58 years, son Mike (Cindy) Paris ON and Joanne (Jeff) Verner ON. Predeceased by his much-loved son Scott and his sister Jacqueline Papillon (Ken). He was the brother of Rick Currie (Mary Beth) Windsor ON. Also left to miss him are grandson Gord Currie and granddaughters Samantha Chouinor and Kyla Chouinor and great granddaughter Kylee Currie. Special Grandpa to Jason Shields (Alysha) and Rob Kemp (Pam). A Legion service will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 415 Port Loring ON at 11 am followed by a celebration of life. If you choose to make a donation in Wayne’s memory, this may be done to the Legion Roofing Fund, Nipissing Serenity Hospice (for more information go to nipissingserenityhospice.ca) In addition, the family would also ask you to consider a blood donation.
