WARREN McDOUGALL
Warren McDougall, 87, of RR3, Mitchell passed away with his family by his side at Stratford General Hospital on Monday, December 31, 2018.
Beloved husband of Marjorie McDougall. Dear father of Bruce McDougall (Margaret), Grant McDougall (Lori), Greg McDougall and Anne McDougall (Trevor Rines). Loving grandfather of Sarah Van Der Straeten (Andy), James McDougall (Courtney), Elizabeth Sterkenburg (Brent), Stacy Jordan (Fraser), Stephanie McDougall (Cody), Sydney McDougall and Malcolm Rines. Cherished great grandfather of Kinsley, Owen, Myra, Karson, Alyce, Harvey and Sadie. Dear brother-in-law of Lula McDougall, Helen and Ed Ard, Bob and Glynis Rice. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Ivan and Edith McDougall, brother Clarence McDougall and nephew Rob McDougall.
Warren was a former member of the Mitchell District High School Board, Mitchell and District Credit Union Board and the Board of Managers and Session of Knox Presbyterian Church, Mitchell.
A funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Mitchell on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Robert Adams officiating. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Spring interment in Knox Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Knox Presbyterian Church Roof Fund or charity of one’s choice may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
