August 16, 1932 – January 16, 2019
ST. MARTIN, Vivian Joan – Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 with family at her side at the F.J. Davey Home in her 87th year of a life well lived and dearly loved by all who knew her.
Dear friend of the late Aileen Hadden, the late Betty Nelson, the late Elsie Mole and Joyce Mertes of Sault Ste. Marie. Loving sister of the late Ena Thomas (late Harry) of Florida and the late Mildred Bishop (late John) of Sault Ste. Marie. Dear aunt to Garry Bishop (Iona), Donna Farrell, Merlyn Bishop (Betty Lou), Joan Davis (Alan) of the Sault. Duane Bishop (Kathy) of Wawa, Judie Brown of Tennessee, Janice Thomas of Kentucky, Merrilee Perrone of Detroit, Rob Hadden of Calgary, Stewart Mole of St. Joseph Island, Paul Mertes of Mississauga and Ted Mertes of Kitchener. Cherished great aunt of Jennifer Manary (Doug), Sean Bishop (Laura) of the Sault, John Farrell of Toronto, Collen Wise (Chris) of Florida, Keri-Lee Traverse (Dwayne) and Christopher Bishop (Michelle) of Waterloo, Kevin Bishop of Sault Ste. Marie, Nicole Logan (Tony) of Sault Ste. Marie, Erin Stein of Wawa. Special ‘Auntie’ to many. A Celebration of Life at Willowgrove United Church will be arranged and publicized at a later date. Memorial contributions “payable by cheque’ to the Alzheimer Society or Willowgrove United Church would be appreciated by the family.
