(Terrance) Terry David Longlade
The family is saddened to announce the sudden passing of Terry David Longlade on Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Health Sciences North at the age of 61. He was born and raised in Sudbury. Taken too soon, he courageously fought a short battle with lung disease and eventually succumbed to complications. Devoted son of the late Archie and Elizabeth (Betty) Longlade. Terry is survived by his sisters and brothers Karen (Charles) Galipeau; Cathie (Daniel) Deshevy; Alan, John (Lina), and Neil (Diana) Longlade and the loving uncle of many nieces and nephews who will always keep him in their hearts. His late companion Rufus brought him joy beyond measure as they were inseparable.
Terry was a gentle man who lived a quiet and simple life, asking for little and enjoying simple pleasures, including gardening, fishing and family gatherings. The family expresses sincere gratitude and thanks to the ICU staff for the excellent care provided. Terry’s wish was to have a private celebration of life. In memoriam, donations to the Sudbury Elgin Street Mission would be greatly appreciated. Flowers and cards are graciously declined.
Brother, we love you and the world will miss your kindness and gentle smile.
