Obituary for Sylvia Roberts
ROBERTS, Sylvia (nee Wycherley) – Of Earls Court Village, London, after a long courageous fight with Parkinson’s Disease. Passed away peacefully on Thursday January 10th, 2019 in her 75th year. Beloved wife of the late Ewart A. Roberts (2004). Dear mother of Ian (Angela) Roberts and Jeff (Katie) Roberts. Loving grandmother to Aidan, Ainsley, Emily and Erin. Beloved sister of Gillian (Bob) Shuker and cherished aunt of Paul (Seve) Shuker and Neil (Vicky) Shuker. Sylvia will always be remembered by her extended family in England and many friends. Predeceased by her parents Edgar and Phyllis Wycherley. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for a celebration of life at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home Thamesford Chapel, 177 Dundas Street Thamesford, Ontario (519-285-2427) on Thursday January 17, 2019 from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm, where a service to honour Sylvia’s life will be held at 6:00 pm. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial contributions to Parkinson Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated and may be arranged through the funeral home. A special thank you to the staff and residents of Earls Court Village in London. Your care and support for our mother will not be forgotten. Her stay was made easier because of the family we inherited there.
