Obituary of Suzan Kitto
A brave Suzan lost the battle with pancreatic cancer and passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by the love of her family, on January 24th, 2019. Suzan Mary Anne Yvonne Kitto (nee Dunn), of Owen Sound, was 66 years old. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Nicholas Kitto. Loving mother of Nadine and Maxine Kitto. Proud Mamie of Ryder, Hudson, Owen and Clement. Cherished daughter of Lorraine Dunn, of Cowansville, Quebec and the late John Dunn. Dear sister of Brenda Dunn-Lardeau (Jean-Pierre), of Beaconsfield, Quebec and Sandra Dunn (Roger Reed), of Allenford. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and friends. Suzan touched and inspired many students, families and colleagues during her teaching career in Quebec, Ontario and in many international schools overseas.
Friends may call at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Thursday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. A Memorial Service for Suzan Kitto will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 1st, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. There will be another Memorial Service for Suzan to be held in Quebec in the spring. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation as an expression of sympathy.
