Sharon Fraser
1955-2019
FRASER,
Sharon Maureen – 63 of Bridgewater, passed away peacefully January 4,
2019 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Edmonton,
Alberta on May 19, 1955, she is the daughter of the late Alexander Jr.
Fraser And Marion (Loomes) Fraser. Being from a Navy family brought
Sharon from Edmonton to Seattle, Washington, and later moved to
Dartmouth NS. Until the age of 16, she lived in East Lahave, at which
time she started volunteering for many organizations in Bridgewater
including the Bridgewater Baseball Association, Bridgewater Barracudas
Swim Team, Bridgewater Kippers, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Bridgewater
Fire Department Breakfasts, and seven years with Relay for Life. She
spent many hours assisting with any fundraisers that were taking place
and was always there to serve wherever she was needed. Surviving are
her sister Darrel Lynn Fraser MacKenzie, Kamloops BC; Son Jason Fraser
Johnson, Lower Branch; Grandson Tyler Fraser Johnson; Niece Shai- Lynn
Joy MacKenzie, Kamloops BC.; Great-niece Elizabeth Mackenzie
“Ellee Mae”; Celebration of Life will be 11:00am Thursday in
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater, Pastor Paul Jensen
Officiating. Interment will be at a later date. Memorial Donations may
be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the
direction of the R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, where On-line
