Ruth Lenore Kinsman
1925-2019
Ruth Lenore Kinsman – age 93, passed away on Thursday,
January 17, 2019 at Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born in Dedham
Massachusetts she was the daughter of the late George and Rita (Hutt)
Hamilton. She moved to Grafton, NS with her family at age ten. She is
survived by her son, David (Janice); daughters, Faye (Wayne) Corbin;
Diane, all of Welsford, Janet (Bill) Lightfoot, Kentville; nine
grandchildren, Gregg, Heather, Cheryl, Darren, Michael, Martha, Erica,
Karen and Nathan; four great grandchildren, Camden, Carter, Dean and
Declan. She was predeceased by her spouse, Cyril Kinsman and her
brother, George Hamilton. The family would like to thank the staff at
Grand View Manor for their care and compassion while Ruth was in their
care. She especially enjoyed her visits with Shirley and a
special thank you to the two Linda’s. Cremation has taken
place and there will be no visitation, by request. A graveside service
and celebration of life will be held at a later date in the Pleasant
Valley Cemetery. She enjoyed animals and especially loved her cat.
Donations in memory may be made to the Kings Branch of the SPCA.
