Passed away surrounded by those who her loved her dearly at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on the afternoon of January 12th, 2019 at the age of 68. Ruth was raised in a large family living in Sunderland, England. Daughter of John William & Eliza Brown (Poppy). She leaves behind her husband of 49 years Keith, children who cherished her Paul (Megan Carnell), Stephen (Kristine), Christine (Luigi Primerano), her beloved grandson Jonn Keith (Emma Carnell) & her many relatives back in England. Ruth had music in her heart & could often be found with a smile on her face, humming a tune to songs old & new. Ruth loved to sit on her porch to watch a good thunderstorm. She would often go out with her best friend Barbara (Barb) Nutall, who also unfortunately & recently passed, to see live shows, get season passes to ride rollercoasters at Wonderland or take to walks at the waterfront. Ruth loved visiting with her family in England. One of her biggest thrills in recent memory was finally being able to see Ozzy Osbourne in concert (Ozzy!) with her daughter & grandson at her side. The family would like to thank all of the friends, neighbours & family with their outpouring of love, offering support & kind words to help us through our loss.
