Obituary of Rose Wells
Rose Marie Wells of Moose Jaw passed away on January 16, 2019 at the age of 79. Rose was born and raised in Regina to John and Rose Kalynuk; while living in Regina she worked for SaskPower for several years. Rose moved to Moose Jaw where she met and married Gary Wells. She began a career as an accountant with Canaday’s Apparel where she was employed for 50 years, she also was an active member of the Order of the Royal Purple. Rose was predeceased by her husband Gary; parents John and Rose; brothers Bill and Mike. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Gladys Kalynuk and brother-in-law Stu (Anne) Black of Edmonton; nieces Mikalyn Kalynuk, Paula (Howard) Zatylny; great-niece Carrie (Brandon) Bailey and their two daughters Emme and Eva, Kaitlyn Zatylny and great-nephew Matthew Zatylny as well as numerous cousins. A Celebration of Rose’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 11:00 am at Parkview Funeral Chapel (Redpath Lounge), 474 Hochelaga St W., Moose Jaw. Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate. For those wishing memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. In living memory of Rose, a memorial planting will be made by Jones-Parkview Funeral Services.
