1942-2019
Ronald Fitzgerald of Moncton passed away on January 6, 2019.
Born in Conch, NL., he was the son of the late Jack and Mary (Carroll)
Fitzgerald.
Ron had been a long-time employee of Woolworths and was the
former owner of Ron’s Light Trucking. He had most recently
retired from Kent’s Building Supplies, following his
retirement he later became the custodian of St. Augustin’s
Catholic Church.
He is survived by his son John (Michelle) Fitzgerald of
Riverview, daughter Tara (Mike) Sprague of Amherst, NS, two grandsons;
Justin Sprague and Jacob Fitzgerald, sister Teresa of Parksville, BC.
four brothers; Clyde (Ruby) of Mississauga ON, Jerome (Sandra) of Deer
Lake NL, Barry of Calgary Alberta, John (Julie) of Barrie ON., his
friend and mother of his children Anne (Pafford) of Riverview. seven
nieces and nine nephews.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives on
Wednesday, January 9th, 2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00 PM at
Cobb’s Funeral Home & Cremation Centre 330 Whitepine
Rd. Riverview, NB. A funeral Mass celebrating
Ron’s life will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at
11:00am at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 340 Dominion St.
Moncton, with Father Allison Carroll presiding.
Donations to the NB Heart and Stoke Foundation or St.
Augustine Catholic Church, would be appreciated by the family. Online
