Ronald Gregory McCracken
April 29, 1957 – January 15, 2019
Ronald (Butch) McCracken
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 15th, 2019 a GNGH in Niagara Falls at the age of 61. Survived by his loving wife Joanne & daughters; Jessica McCracken, Jen (Bryan) Lane & step-children Ross Gillies, Ritchie (Lorianne) Gillies, & Trisha Gillies. Special grandpa to Brandon, Emma, Madison, Nathan, Rhiannon, Ritchie Jr. Alana & Ethan. Loving brother to A.J. (Craig) Newton.
Predeceased by his parents Ronald & Shirley McCracken & his sister Randi McCracken.
Ron worked for Zavitz Trucking and was a proud long-haul trucker. He also had a passion for the outdoors hunting & fishing.
A special thank-you to the ICU department at GNGH Dr. Doyle and Dr. Malcolm as well as nurse Maryanne for their care and compassion.
The family will receive visitors at HETHERINGTON AND DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Ave. Niagara Falls on Saturday Jan. 19th from 10-11:00 am with a funeral service beginning at 11:00am in the Chapel. Cremation to follow.
Donations to the Heart & Stroke Association would be appreciated.
