Roger Manford Leavitt passed away at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB. on Tuesday, January 15, 2019.
Born in St. Stephen, NB., son of Margaret (Tatton) Richard of St. Andrews, NB. and the late Paul Leavitt.
Roger is survived by his mother, his wife, Heather (Gowan) Leavitt, his children: Tamara Dunphy (Peter), Sasha Leavitt, Jeremy Leavitt (Heather Morrow) and Brandon Leavitt (Ashley Boucher), all of St. Stephen, NB., grandchildren: Cody, Michael, Peter, Drake, Dante, Anthony, Noah, Kairi and Riley, brothers: Terrence Leavitt, Wayne Leavitt, Paul Leavitt Jr., Carl Baardson, Dale Baardson, Richard Nason, sisters: Anne Crawford, Karen Richardson (John), Crystal Cunningham (Dan), Melissa Leavitt and Carla Nason, several aunts uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his son-in-law, Glenn Leavitt and his step-father, Camille Richard.
A funeral service will be held at The S. O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB. on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 2 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 18 from 7-9 PM and Saturday from 1-2 PM. Victoria Lodge #26 F & AM will conduct a tribute service on Saturday at 12 NOON.
Interment at Oak Bay Cemetery, Oak Bay, NB. at a later date.
For those who wish, donations in memory of Roger may be made to Charlotte County Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.mehanfuneralhome.ca
