Obituary of Robert “Bob” Goulet
It is with sadness the family of Robert “Bob” Goulet of Moose Jaw announce his passing away peacefully with family by his side on January 12, 2019 at the age of 83. Bob was born and raised in Quebec City. He had a career with the Royal Canadian Air Force, TV and Radio repair before retiring with CP Rail in Moose Jaw. When Bob was younger, he was a sports fanatic and enjoyed golfing and fishing. As he “matured” he enjoyed watching sports, gardening, neighborhood lawn and yard assistant. He was always willing to lend a hand to those who needed it and he made sure to keep the South Hill squirrels well fed. Bob is predeceased by his wife Irene; parents Alexander and Marie Goulet; brothers Jean Claude and Maurice. He will be sadly missed by his son Robert (Naiomi) and daughter Cathy (Darren); grandchildren Amy and Christa Goulet, Kayla and Dustin Pecusik; great-grandchildren Evan Goulet and Emma Goulet; siblings André (Jeannine), Gaston (Hèléne), Jacqueline, Christaine as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 1:30 pm at Parkview Funeral Chapel, 474 Hochelaga St W., Moose Jaw. Reverend Dave Moore will officiate. Interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. For those so wishing memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1738 Quebec Ave #26, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 1V9. In living memory of Bob, a memorial tree planting will be made by Jones-Parkview Funeral Services.
